Below are the old steps we took when we were editing Podcasts for OTL.  However, Steven (their Creative Director) now handles the podcast edits and he provides the title, description, and mp3 file for us to post.  Here is a video tutorial on the steps you will need to take in scheduling OTL Podcasts moving forward. https://www.screencast.com/t/hpb0BDblM6

  1. Start toggl timer: OTL Podcast
  2. Client files > OTL > Working > OTL Podcast
  3. Clone most recent episode garage band file (right click and duplicate)
    1. Change number on file name (example OTL Podcast Episode 15)
  4. Click Dropbox link from client’s email and download the client’s audio file
    1. Convert client’s file to .aiff if they give you different file type
  5. Be sure to read the client’s instructions from the email
  6. Open file in Garage Band
    1. Delete old “interview” sections
    2. Replace the client’s audio file sections into the “OTL Podcast Episode 15”
    3. Shift “interview” sections to where it matches up with music
    4. Make sure to review if the episodes had endings or not. You may need to review old episodes and copy the ending song­­­­­
  7. Finish edits
  8. Save file
  9. File > Share > Export song to disc > file as .mp3 (save on desktop or in the folder)
  10. Go to OTL WordPress site
  11. Post
  12. Add new
  13. Enter title and Description
    1. Read over the text and make sure it is written well
    2. Make sure Author is correct
  14. Upload .mp3 file to Media and also in the Working folder
    1. Copy URL
    2. Verify the URL link
  15. Enter Podcast Episode URL
  16. Select Categories (Podcast or OTL Podcast)
  17. Publish
